Role Profile

The Furniture, Furnishings and Interiors industry is of significant importance to the UK economy, particularly in the supply of end products for residential and commercial living and work places. The industry has an annual turnover well in excess of £12 billion. The ability to work to agreed targets in terms of output and quality standards is essential.

Course Details

Once you complete this apprenticeship, you will be a qualified Level 2 Fitted furniture installer. A Fitted Furniture Installer is responsible for preparing and installing furniture including kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms. This is onsite at the customer's commercial or domestic premises. Learners taking this qualification will experience a wide variety of projects and interface closely with customers.

  • How to use power and hand tools
  • Assembly and installation
  • Customer Services

  • Sanding
  • Veneers and laminates

Location: PROCAT Basildon Campus.

Duration: 24 months.

Study Format: 1 day per week (day release).

Entry Requirements: GCSE English grade 3 (or D). GCSE maths grade 3 (or D).
