Why management training?

In the latest Employer Skills Survey (Jan. 2015) the UK Commission for Employment and Skills found that two-thirds of 91.000 employers surveyed reported difficulties filling vacancies due to skills shortages, leading to loss of business to competitors, increased operational costs, having to outsource work or a combination of all three.

The main people and personal skills seen as lacking pertained to

  • time and workload management,
  • team working,
  • leadership and management skills; and
  • customer handling skills.

In today’s fast moving business environment competent Team Leaders and Managers are the cornerstone of any successful venture. Every type of business needs competent Leaders and Managers which is why PROCAT is offering both ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) and CMI (Chartered Management Institute) accredited Management and Leadership courses and qualifications which offer support and development of the softer skills required to motivate staff, manage performance and produce positive results.

Our open ILM and CMI management courses are available at our Basildon campus.

In-house training is offered at your premises across Essex, Kent, Hertfordshire and London. We can also adapt and offer bespoke management programmes to suit your needs without external accreditation if that is your preference.
