Duration:

The duration of this apprenticeship is approximately 36 months or 24 months if progressing from a level 3 apprenticeship.

Location and study format:

The course will be held at procat basildon campus (tuca for the electrical pathway) and studied on a mixture of block and day release.

Entry requirements:

Completion of level 3 apprenticeship or industry experience to be assessed on an individual basis.

Level:

The apprenticeship framework is at level 4.

Qualifications:

Higher national certificate in general engineering

Higher national certificate in electrical and electronic engineering

Funding band:

This apprenticeship has a funding cap of £9,000 for the electrical and electronics pathways and £12,000 for the mechanical pathway.
